Barbie My First Skates - Girls Customer Review: different colored skates
My 5 year old daughter wanted skates just like her big sister’s for her birthday. It was a last minute request so I put a rush order through Amazon. The party was great and the only thing she wanted to do was put on her new skates. As soon as I cut the skate off the box she had it on her feet. I opened the box to get the other skate out and we found a red and dark blue skate inside. Talk about feeling horrible. I had to tell my little one to take it off because we had to send it back. After searching a gazillion Wal Mart’s, we found barbie skates(with a matching one inside the box). You can say we are very dissapointed in Amazon.

Works just like the product says. My daughter begged for roller skates for her 3rd birthday and this is what we bought. She has a pretty tough time with them, even on the beginner setting (as I expected that she would) but I am sure as she gets a little older she will get more use out of them.

Barbie’s Vet Office Playset Barbie Veterinarian. Now that Tanner has puppies, she needs to visit Dr. Barbie in her veterinarian office to make they are growing healthy and happy. Playset comes with different areas and play pieces to support a full nurturing environment for the puppies. There is even a “sonogram” so that Barbie can check the puppies and make sure they are ok. This is a nice toy, but I think it could of been made better…especially to close. As ours does not want to really stay closed. My daughter enjoys it. You can purchase other sets to expand.

This was a gift for my granddaughter for Christmas. She loved the toy and I sent the Maxwell batteries with it. It has lasted so far with no problems, but like most toys, she lost interest after a month. She did try to dance along with the doll, so it did provide incentive for excersize!
Customer Review: Genevieve Can’t Do the Robot
My daughter thought from the commercials that Princess Genevieve would be able to do a lot more dances than she can actually do. The wearable arm and foot controllers don’t work like she thought they would either and the doll occasionally gets stuck while dancing.

Customer Review: Teach how to care for a pet
This toy may be messy with the sand and the cat peeing water but it gives the child a sense of responsibility. They learn to cleanup and care for a pet without harming them in any way. This is a great way to see if the child really can get along with a pet and be responsibile. The truth be told, even the adults in our family got a great kick out of Barbie and Mika the cat. The price was very reasonable and the child spends hours with it everyday playing Barbie’s mommy and teaching Barb how to cleanup, care for and caress the cat. It was a joke when I first purchased it but it turned out to be really a valuable lesson gift.
Customer Review: Fun for Kids, Pain for Mom
Maybe I shouldn’t write a review so quickly, but my 5 year old daughter has only had this toy for 3 hours and I hate it already. She seems to like it, but I agree with the reviewer that says it requires constant adult supervision. The sand is VERY fine and gets everywhere! I’ve vacuumed twice tonight and finally took away the bottle and sand and told her she had to play with just the dolls. Maybe an older child would get more out of it. I disagree that it would teach a child responsibility for cleaning up after a real cat. You can’t control when a real cat pees, and real cat pee has a smell. Perhaps if the sand was stinky, then it would be the MOST obnoxious toy on the market right now.

Hello, My daughter has been collecting the Holiday Barbies since about 1993 or so. I usually wait until close to Christmas, as money is tight, to buy it. This year I looked in the K-Mart, Wal-Mart, KB Toys, etc. and nobody has one. All I wanted was ONE! Now, I went online to see if I could buy one here, and can’t do it either. Last year Ames had a bunch left over at Christmas. Nobody has had any for weeks and weeks and weeks. This is not fair to those of us who have to wait for money. Why did this happen this year???
