Customer Review: Perfect for your Irish Dancer
My daughter wants to learn Irish dancing and while we are waiting for her to become old enough to take classes here in the US (5 yrs) I purchased this Irish Dance Barbie actually twice now. One that she can play with and one that stays in the box. The Barbie company did a terrific job with this Barbie. The outfit is beautiful and the white socks stay up and don’t fall down. The special shoes do come unlaced pretty easy and can be laced back up …. it was hard but do able and easy to become lost as well. Our Barbie has danced and played many hours with my daughter and her imagination. I do only wish that Barbie was better or more realistic in her body areas like her waist. All and all a terrific Barbie.

She’s just fine as she is. I also wish her wand would stay in her hand, but it doesn’t so we just use a rubber band to hold it. And her clothing is typical of Barbie doll clothes made in China, (or wherever). Of course they’d last much longer if you don’t take them on and off. It’s really not a big deal as long as the children are playing with them. If you want her to stay in pristine condition leave it in the box and put her on a shelf!
Remember people, it’s about the children using their imaginations while playing, not the parents micromanaging and perfecting every little detail of their lives. Overall, she’s a beautiful Glinda and I would recommend her to a friend.
Customer Review: Better suited for collectors than for little girls
This doll looks lovely in the box. Once you remove her from the box, her hair is shabby and matted in the back of her head. The wand stays in her hand only with a rubberband.
