Customer Review: Cheap, cheap, cheap…
This is the second kid’s camera I have purchased for my 6 yr. old daughter and we have yet to get a kid’s camera that even works. The first one was a Disney princess camera from Wal-Mart that didn’t work at all so it was returned. I saw this one in a Fingerhut catalog and at the last minute I ordered it for Christmas. Big disappointment! She opened it and wanted to start using it right away. But from the second I removed it from the clear plastic casing I was shocked by how cheaply made and flimsy this camera was. I paid $50.00 for something that felt like it came from a 10 cent gum-ball machine. I reluctantly put the batteries in it just to see what would happen…nothing happened. No power what-so-ever! So that camera is going back to Fingerhut for a refund. I believe I’m done with trying to find a working “kid friendly” camera. My daughter has had 2 major disappointments already so I’ll just get a regular digital camera for her and be done with it. You can find the older ones with smaller memories pretty cheap now. That’s what I would suggest for anyone who wants to get their child a camera. Don’t bother with the kid versions.
Customer Review: Don’t bother
I ordered this camera for my 6 year old’s Santa gift. I did not want her using my expensive camera. It would not take any pictures unless in bright natural light. When I went to install it on my computer it had the wrong software. I downloaded the software to find out that this camera was defective. Etoys replaced it at no cost, but the next one still wouldn’t work with my computer or my neighbor’s computer (and he’s a computer tech.)

The Dream House has been a great role-playing tool for my 3 and 5 year-old girls. They’ve had Barbies for about 6 months, but have not really played with them until now. Now…they can’t stop!

This is a huge waste of money!! The screen is tiny, only about an inch, and the sound is distorted!!! I should have known better because the computer itself was small!! Please spend your money on something AMERICAN MADE!!!!
Customer Review: Overall nice
This toy is very pretty & the few games it has are nice. The screen is waaaaaaaay too small, doesn’t light up & wouldn’t have held my daughter’s attention. She’ll be turning 4 in a couple of weeks & I didn’t want to waste her time so I returned it the day after receiving it. The games are age appropriate but my daughter is pretty intelligent for her age & would have gotten very bored too quickly with it. Also, b/c it’s not a QWERTY keyboard (she’s used to the real keyboard and knows where most of the letters are), she wouldn’t have liked it very much. Overall, it is a nice educational toy, but I think it would be better to buy a laptop that (firstly) has a bigger screen that lights up & would challenge a child and keep their interest longer than a few days.

This is a pretty doll. The face and the hair and the wings are beautiful. I think I got a good deal for my money; however, the bodice of the doll is painted on. I thought it had regular take off/on clothes, but the bodice of the dress is actually painted on.
Customer Review: Fairy Fun
My daughter is very happy with her doll. She was excited over being able to play the game with the Elina doll. I did have a little trouble getting it programmed but once I reset it and made sure that I was holding the DVD remote control to the white light instead of the red light on her necklace, everything went smoothly. This concept of using the doll as the remote in the game is interesting and enticing to children, (well, to my daughter anyway). But the game itself is extremely lacking. There is no depth to it. All you do is turn your doll to the left or right to go to different places where you are given the stones for the crown in which the stones had been stolen from. There is no challenge, you simply go to these places and the stones are given to you. So there really is no “game”. The doll itself is pretty and her wings will flutter with a push of a button. I’ve given this toy 4 stars just based on the doll. I would give the game only 1 star.
